Adding news to the project

The Tools > News menu lets you publish news on your project, helping people interested in contributing to keep up with the latest developments, since they can subscribe to it through an RSS feed.

News items also allow file attachments, which makes it easy to send and share new material with the project’s followers.

The Add new button opens the creation form, with a field for the title and another for the body of the news item with a text editor. Once the news item has been created and saved, you can attach files to it. To do so, click the “Attach” button in the news list. There are also buttons to edit or even delete the news item.
